jake cigainero

public relations

Jacob Cigainero, since joining SparkFarm, has provided public relations support for Nasher Sculpture Center, TEDxSMU and Communities Foundation of Texas, as well as spearheaded press initiatives to bridge the local-to-national gap for the launch of new cause-driven fashion brand UWEZO. Jacob was previously PR director of Dallas Theater Center, a resident company of the AT&T Performing Arts Center, where he was a key collaborator with the Performing Arts Center's marketing and communications team for press campaigns and its 2009 grand opening. During his tenure with DTC, he raised the company's profile through securing top coverage in local and national outlets, and also created and developed the organization's social media presence and strategies. A true collaborator, Jacob seizes every opportunity to work with organizations to make something good even better, like partnering with North Texas Food Bank to raise almost $85K for hunger relief programs. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he studied journalism, English and Spanish. When he's not at the Farm (Spark, that is, or his real one), he's most likely exercising his passport.
